BIIG PIIG TOUR - UK+IE+EU 2025
Creative direction and set design by Dana Keren
For Biig Piig’s European tour, Dana designed a dynamic and scalable set that could seamlessly adapt to 14 different venues, including the iconic Camden Roundhouse in London and La Cigale in Paris.
The design needed to be lightweight yet durable for touring, with elements that could be easily assembled and transported by a small crew. Every passageway, doorway, elevator, and transport trailer had to be carefully considered, ensuring the set could fit through varying backstage spaces and be efficiently loaded in and out of each venue.
Inspired by the locations where the artist had written the album, the set evoked a cinematic cityscape with layered architectural structures that created depth and dimension on stage. A key design challenge was maintaining visual impact while ensuring modularity, allowing the set to expand or contract based on stage dimensions. The show’s atmosphere evolved from dusk to dawn, achieved through strategic lighting and adaptable set pieces. Constructed primarily from CNC-cut MDF, the set balanced structural integrity with portability, resulting in an immersive, atmospheric stage that transformed with the music while remaining practical for a demanding touring schedule.
